History

TECNOMAC, established in Sondrio in 1991 on a decade of experience in the industry, immediately started as Dealer for most recognized Brands in the heavy equipment industry.


Relationships that still last to this day, thereby guaranteeing the Customer with a long-standing sales and technical standard.



Tecnomac’s traditional geographic areas of operation are: the province of Sondrio, Alto Lario and the nearby Swiss Confederation in the Cantons of Ticino and Grisons. Since 2008 the company has broadened its horizons by also extending its operations to several countries in the African continent, starting a local company in Ghana, as well as conducting various operations in the Middle East.

Always innovative in the selection of products for its Customers, in the year 2000 Tecnomac was named by Johnson Matthey Ltd., the world’s main manufacturer of diesel particulate filters for industrial applications, as their exclusive Distributor for the Italian market and for southern Switzerland. This made it possible to supply and install more than one thousand particulate filters (PM10) on heavy machinery used in sites in various European countries and to directly supply manufacturers such as JCB, Caterpillar (CGT), Komatsu, Manitou, Merlo, Hitachi, Atlas Copco, Ingersoll-Rand, Sandvik, Doosan as well as clients such as Salini ImpregiloS.p.a., Todini S.p.a., Grandi Lavori Fincosit S.p.a., Cossi S.p.a., Società Italiana Condotte Acqua S.p.a.
